Amy Russell
Amy Russell, lives in Clyde with her Wife, Lisa and their Boxer, Sheldon. She is the Operations Manager at Champion Supply and has worked there for 24 years. Recently, she was elected to the Town of Clyde's Board of Alderman or Alderwomen in her case. She has served on the Board for Habitat for Humanity and loves spending time working on affordable housing for our community.
She is a Haywood County Native and graduate of Tuscola. She has a degree in Hospitality Management & Administration from AB Tech and worked in the Restaurant Industry for many years. She has a wonderful daughter, Jordan that lives in Bryson City with her husband and her 3 grandchildren. Her work has afforded her the opportunity to travel and live in different places thus getting to have many interactions with people from different walks of life with different perspectives and different beliefs. This is something that she is excited about being able to bring back to her hometown and share.
Her passions include my family, community, affordable housing, diversity, small businesses and inclusion. All of these lend themselves to loving and working with different groups of people to accomplish simiar goals. Goals that are important to bringing people from different walks of life together to build a stronger community.
